We left early Tuesday morning, to drive to Provo Utah, thinking that all the "mishaps" were behind us, and that we would arrive in Provo that night by 8:00pm. Robyn really wanted to eat at "Cafe Rio" (one of her favorite restaurants in Provo that is very popular, and kind of like Chipotle) one last time before she went on the mission. A few hours down the road, the suburban started acting a little strange, and we became a little worried. We stopped several times, and called "on-star", but they found nothing wrong and we continued. We made it to Price Utah (about 1 1/2 hrs from Provo), and the transmission went out! By this time, it was 8pm and all the rental car places were closed. Robyn and I (Bekah), called friends that we had in Provo, and found 3 wonderful people to come and rescue us! Thanks to Collete, and Amber and Preston, we were able to make it into Provo around midnight.Luckily, we broke down at a gas station, off the highway. Knowing our hopes to eat at Cafe Rio were brutally dashed, we went inside to see if they had anything to eat. They had a grill, but had already closed it down, and could only offer us some french fries. So, Robyn's last dinner before her mission consisted of a cold, pre-made sub sandwich with soggy bread and processed cheese, and some crispy fries with strange tasting fry sauce.
This is how happy we were. . .
Here is a picture of our feast
